How far in advance should I schedule me session?
This all depends on the season you are wanting to book your session. AMP typically books out 2-3 months in advance. So definitely book early! If you missed the opportunity to book a certain season with us, please ask to join our waitlist for that specific season. You may still have the opportunity to work with us if we have a last minute cancellation.
Do I need to pay anything upfront?
Yes, at the time of booking your photography sessions we take a non-refundable retainer fee that goes toward your session fee. The remaining balance will be due upon your arrival the day of your session.
Example: If your session is $550, you will owe me $200 at booking. And the remaining balance of $350 is due the day of your session when you arrive. If we do not receive payment the day of your session, your images will not be edited until we receive that final payment. This may delay your delivery date.
Another photographer is cheaper, can you match their prices?
The service we provide is completely unique, based on years of experience and hard work to develop our own style of photography and client care. We do not consider our work and experience to be comparable to any other photographer in New Mexico – and vice versa – for the simple reason that it is custom art.
Our pricing is determined based on our extensive experience, quality of images, superior level of attention to detail that we provide to our clients, and the demand for our time. As such, we cannot price-match based on what others are charging because our experience cannot be matched in comparison. We are always happy to accommodate a payment option to make your dreams become a reality. If you have questions, please do not hesitate to ask?
How long do photography sessions usually last?
This depends on the collection you choose. Most of my collections are anywhere between 30 minutes to 3 hours. My senior sessions are typically the longest because I allow outfit changes when you choose collection 1 or 2.
What if I need to reschedule?
I understand that unexpected emergencies happen and I do allow 1 opportunity to reschedule your session without losing out on your retainer fee. If you have to reschedule, I ask that you please give me a 24-hour notice if possible. Let’s be considerate of each other’s time. Thank you!
Can I print images at a local quick print retailer?
I highly recommend refraining from using local quick print labs. The high resolution images I provide will lack in quality, because retail labs tend to print on low grade paper and their coloring is typically not precise. You spent good money for professional images, so why not keep them looking professional by using a professional lab. For your convenience, you can order prints through me. This option is available when viewing your digital gallery through the shopping cart icon located in your client gallery. You will typically receive your order in 1 to 2 weeks when placing a print order through me. Ask about our signature product line. We also sell beautifully designed albums, prints, memory boxes, story boards, acrylic blocks, graduation invitations, and canvases at an additional cost. They are worth the investment.
What is the turnaround time to view my images once the session is complete?
My turnaround time is typically 3 to 4 weeks during my peek season and 2-3 weeks during my offseason . Please note that every image you receive is evaluated and color corrected, so this takes time. I will however post a small sneak peek for you on Facebook ,Instagram, or snapchat. Thank you for your understanding.
If you should need your images sooner, I charge a $50 fee for rush orders. These orders are completed in 1-2 week from the day your session was taken.

What happens if I am late?
Please please please, try to be on time! I typically schedule photography sessions based on the time the sun sets. So if you are late, we lose that perfect light. I would hate to be rushing us through a session or have to cut your session short for being late.
What is included in your editing?
AMP does not believe in changing the appearance and true representation of how people appear. So when it comes to editing, we do BASIC color correcting which does not include editing such as body liquidation, teeth whitening, wrinkle removal, or any other facial cosmetic corrections. However, if you feel that additional editing is needed that is beyond my style, we would be more than happy to provide those services for an additional fee.
What is a print release?
Because AMP only provides digital images, you will receive a print release with your collection.What this means, is that you have the right to PRINT as many images that your little heart desires.
